LDC and MDC are providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy to volunteers in a trial organised by the Royal Marsden Hospital, hoping to ameliorate the long term adverse effects of radiotherapy for pelvic cancer.

The search for a man feared missing overboard from a yacht near Arran resumed at first light today. Clyde Coastguard has been coordinating the search since yesterday afternoon. The yacht Cena was found by a fishing vessel yesterday about 2 miles north of Arran with no one aboard. Following the search yesterday, the search recommenced this morning. …
